We are calling artists to submit work for our “Small Works for Christmas” exhibit which will run from Friday Dec. 5th, 2008-
Friday Jan. 2nd, 2009.
There will be a grand opening Christmas party at 6pm Friday Dec 5th to kick things off.
We want to create the spirit of the season in the gallery for the holidays, and what better way than with original art!
Here are the rules:
- All submissions must be Christmas / Holiday themed.
- Any medium, including photography, is acceptable, but must be art that can be hung.
- Maximum art dimensions are 15”x15” (frame included).
- We will select 1 piece from each artist, though you may submit up to 3 pieces.
- Selections must be framed, gallery wrapped, or otherwise professionally mounted for the exhibition.
- All work must be available for sale.
- Submit all work for consideration by email, or mail/drop off a disk with the digital file to St. Lawrence Gallery.
- We will review all work and contact you when selections are made.
- Deadline for submissions is midnight, Wednesday November 19th, 2008.
Get in the Christmas spirit and have fun with this, it will be a great way to meet other artists and get your work in front of a
good crowd! We have a number of social events planned for December so the work will get plenty of publicity.
