We are always looking out for new talent and suitable
established artists to bring into our gallery, and we would
love to see your work. If you are an artist seeking
representation then please follow the guidelines below
(these will help you in dealing with other galleries too):
Call us before bringing any work into the gallery.
We like to know who you are, and a little about the type of
work you do before reviewing any art. We can also tell
you immediately whether or not we have space available
for new art at the current time.

Call us before bringing any work into the gallery.
We like to know who you are, and a little about the type of
work you do before reviewing any art. We can also tell
you immediately whether or not we have space available
for new art at the current time.
This will save us both time. If your work is not the right fit for the gallery we can
tell you without setting up an appointment.
Do not bring originals to leave with us.
We will not hold original work for any artist that we do not yet represent, or are
not working with for other reasons. If you want to show us original work, make
sure you have a print or photograph of the piece that you can leave with us too.
Do bring a portfolio of your work.
This can be photographs, prints, or a CD of your images. The gallery owner
must review all work before a decision is made, though he is rarely in the gallery
during business hours. You need to be willing to leave a portfolio with us. Again,
we do not keep originals for review.
Do not expect an answer immediately.
We will typically take 1-2 weeks to review your work before making a decision.
Do not take it personally if we turn down your work.
We are approached daily by artists looking to sell their work so competition is
high. Perseverance is key, and if you really have good work, an excellent
portfolio, and a positive attitude then you will find representation somewhere.
Remember we do not always have space available, so we may contact you
later. Don't give up! An excellent resource for finding ways to sell your art is the
"2008 Artist's & Graphic Designer's Market" which lists galleries,
publishers, print companies and more (about 2000 in all!).
